How Much Will A Dyson Vacuum In Melbourne Cost Me?

In Melbourne, a Miele vacuum repair service costs:

Workshop inspection fees for customer drop-offs to our Dandenong facility are as follows:
– Domestic Appliance – $90+GST
– Premium Domestic Appliance – $90+GST
– Built In Coffee Machines – $90+GST
– Commercial Appliances – $180+GST

This fee covers the customer dropping the appliance off and includes the workshop inspection.

Additional charges will apply if the customer opts for Nationwide Appliance Repairs to deliver the unit back. Once inspected, further labour and parts will be quoted as needed to restore the machine.

For pick-ups from the customer’s property and delivery to our Dandenong workshop, fees vary:
– Domestic Small Appliance – $180+GST
– Premium Domestic Small Appliances – $180+GST
– Built In Coffee Machines – $180+GST
– Commercial Appliances – $260+GST

This includes pick-up and workshop inspection, but not the return of the customer’s appliance. All our work comes with a 3-month labour warranty and a 12-month parts warranty.

Within the first 0 to 3 months of attending the job, there will be no charge if the same fault recurs, ensuring customer satisfaction and peace of mind.

Is it worth repairing my vacuum, or should I replace it?

In most cases, yes. Around 90% of our repairs are more cost-effective than buying a new vacuum. We’ll always give honest advice based on the condition and repair cost.

My vacuum is making a burning smell. What does that mean?

A burning smell may indicate a failing motor, a damaged belt, or electrical issues. Continuing to use it can cause further damage—bring it in for a proper diagnosis as soon as possible.

Can you fix vacuums that are very noisy or vibrating?

Yes. Loud noises or excessive vibration may point to a worn motor, loose parts, or debris in the fan. We’ll disassemble the unit and fix or replace any faulty components.

The vacuum brush isn’t spinning—can this be repaired?

Yes. A non-spinning brush could be due to a broken belt, motor fault, or clogged brush roller. These parts are serviceable, and we carry common replacements in our workshop.
