When our dishwasher broke, my first thought was how many dishes were going to be in our future as we waited for the repair... how wrong I was! The team at Nationwide Appliance Repairs had it back up and running same day! I unfortunately didn't catch the name of the agent that took my call, but he was extremely thorough and efficient, even going as far as checking close by streets with me to ensure he had the correct weirdly-named street I'd given him. The technician that came out, Anub, was just as fantastic! He was super communicative, letting me know what the issue was and clearly laying out the costs for repair. With a matching part (luckily available!) grabbed from his stash and a few extra-thorough checks later, our dishwasher was going again in the hour. Huge thanks to the team for a hassle free experience!
Repair person Jimmy from Nationwide Appliance Repairs was able to repair my dishwasher in a timely manner and without any unnecessary costs. He took the time to share his knowledge regarding the problem and how best to care for the appliance in the future.

PREVIOUS REVIEW I cracked the seal of my washing machine causing it to leak and called Nationwide Appliance Repairs to fix it, I chose the company based on the good reviews on Google.
When I telephoned the company to book in, I informed them of the type of machine I had and exactly what was wrong. Trying to avoid excess call outs & to fix it on the first visit..
The technician showed up for all of 10mins and said the problem was what I had stated on the phone & I was charged the $180 call out fee. I was informed it would take a couple of weeks to get the part and cost almost $700, which is ridiculous considering a quick Google has the parts listed for led than $60.
When I told them to forget about it, I'll buy a new machine - they tried to convince me a new machine is well over $1000. I told them that is not the case & didn't appreciate being asked to "check with my husband first".
It's obvious they make their money on the call out fees, so I'd recommend finding a different company to anyone looking for repairs.
Appointment was booked promptly and I had a technician within a day. Great follow-up on when the technician was going to arrive. Anup came to service our dishwasher. He was fast and efficient and really courteous. And kept everything tidy. Turns out there was no issue with the dishwasher (he demonstrated to us) but a plumbing issue further down the pipes so he advised on what my next steps should be and what to ask for. I was happy with my experience.
Technician Henry attended our house to repair our Blanco oven. Henry called to communicate his ETA and was extremely thorough and efficient. Once he had completed he ensured our oven was running well and that we were completely satisfied. Very happy.

Henry was professional and conscientious. The freezer was icing up since the door seal had failed. Spare parts were ordered and this took three weeks for them to be delivered. However this is probably an issue with the manufacturer. Henry made a courtesy call to let me know that he would be arriving soon. He replaced the door seals and a new shelf I had ordered and ensured the freezer was properly dried out and all shelves and drawers had been replaced correctly. Other than the length of time required for the spare parts to be delivered I was very happy with the service from Henry. As a suggestion to the company, perhaps you should keep the customer in the loop on the status of the parts order with an email to reassure the customer that you are taking care of the job as best you can. Anyway, thanks again to Henry for a job well done.

Jimmy did an amazing job fixing my asko dishwasher. Great communicator and very efficient. His knowledge and expertise were on point. I would definitely recommend him. But the Nationwide Appliance Repairs Thomastown charges too much.

ILVE broken oven door hinge, range hood stopped working and microwave button broken. On the 1st appointment, each appliance was assessed, recommendations given for repair/replacement, then parts ordered. Ashwin and Anup attended for the final appointment to repair the appliances. They were punctual and polite. They also cleaned up after their repairs. Happy with the repairs so far.
