Why is my cool room not maintaining the correct temperature?

Inconsistent or rising temperatures are often caused by refrigerant leaks, compressor issues, or worn door seals that allow warm air to enter.

Even a minor leak can reduce cooling efficiency and compromise food safety.

We can inspect your system, pressure test for leaks, and restore proper cooling performance quickly.

Why is there ice buildup inside my cool room?

Excessive frost or ice on the evaporator coils or walls usually indicates a faulty defrost timer, damaged door seals, or high humidity entering the room. Ice buildup restricts airflow, forcing the system to work harder and raising energy costs.

Our technicians can defrost the system, check seals, and replace faulty defrost components.

What causes the cool room motor to run constantly?

If the compressor or fan motor never shuts off, the thermostat may be faulty, or the unit may be struggling to reach the target temperature due to a refrigerant issue or poor insulation.

Continuous operation increases wear and energy use. A full system diagnosis will reveal whether a sensor, controller, or mechanical component needs repair.

Why is water pooling on the floor of my cool room?

Water on the floor is often the result of a blocked or frozen drain line, which prevents condensation from draining properly. It can also occur if the door is left open too long or if the door seal is leaking. We’ll clear any drain obstructions, check for seal damage, and make sure drainage is functioning correctly.

How much will the cool room repair cost me?

For Commercial Appliances:
Service Call – $286.00 inc GST

This Cost Includes:
– A mobile service van visit to your home, office, or workplace by one of our trained appliance technicians.
– Up to 30 minutes of labour is included during the initial visit.
– Approximately 75% of repairs are completed within the first 30-minute visit.
– If additional time is required, extra labour is charged at $49.50 (inc. GST) per 15 minutes.
– No additional service call fee applies if the technician needs to return with parts. Only the labour charge of $49.50 (inc. GST) per 15 minutes, plus the cost of any required parts, will apply for the return visit and installation.

Please note: Our technicians carry a selection of commonly used, high-turnover parts in their service vans. However, due to the wide variety of appliances and components across brands and models, not all parts can be stocked on hand at all times.

The Nationwide Appliance Repairs Parts Team will promptly inform customers of the cost of parts either through email or over the phone, and for service recalls, we guarantee a 3-month of labour warranty along with a generous 12-month parts warranty on all our work.

Within the first 0 to 3 months of attending the job, if the same fault recurs, there will be no charge, ensuring customer satisfaction and peace of mind.
